Experimenting with exposure compensation
The sky in the first image (top left) was over exposed. Accordingly I increased the levels of exposure compensation until the highlight warning was no longer showing on my image. Whilst in the final image (bottom right) the sky is nicely exposed, the focal point of the photos, the honesty box, is too dark/under exposed. The best combination of exposure across the entire photo appears to be the second image (top right).
Reminder to self, whilst exposure compensation may resolve a problem in one part of the photo, it could cause issues somewhere else.

Again experimenting with the exposure compensation. Take away's:
Be mindful of where I am pointing my camera and the in built light meter!
What do I want the focus of the image to be. Good exposure of the sky may come at a total black out and lack of any detail in the foreground.
